Our public concerts are major annual showcases for Irish harping and feature world renowned harpers from Ireland and further afield.
Our harp festival also features a series of daily workshops at An Grianán where festival mentors and workshop specialists share their knowledge with participants and give them an opportunity to experience world-class performances in a truly informal setting.
As part of our outreach programme we will be working with Louth Music Generation harp students and visiting local schools for ’hands on harps’ sessions in the lead-up to the festival. The 2017 programme also introduces a harp lunchtime series at the Tholsel in Drogheda - Louth's heritage town on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29thJune. Concerts are free to the public and begin 1pm.
